CONCORDE

A total of twenty Concorde aircraft were built. There were two prototypes , two pre-production and sixteen production aircraft. Seven concordes were delivered to British Airways and seven to Air France. The first flight of Concordewas on 2nd March 1969.

A crossing from Europe to New York takes less than three and a half hours which is a lot less than half the normal flying time for other jets. The record crossing stands at 2hrs 52mins 59secs.

Concorde was made out of diffrent French and British projects
which joined teams in 1962. The partnership led to the
British Aerospace and Aerospatiale of France to build 20 Concordes.
